Barbara says: In Mount Kinabalu National Park, we noticed this lovely Bornean Green Magpie with a large centipede. The bird took the centipede and rubbed it all over its body. We hypothesized that chemicals in the centipede could be used to remove pests from the bird’s skin. I provided two photos because it is hard to see what the bird looks like in the one where it is rubbing the centipede under its wing.
