Spencer says: I love photographing dragonflies and damselflies, and this one’s colors were particularly interesting. This is a female blue dasher dragonfly, and I was lucky to capture the photo as it is. It’s rare to find dragonflies that stay in one place for more than a few seconds, which isn’t enough time to focus on them properly. So, it means something to me when I’m able to photograph them successfully.
